Tonight the girls had another home football game and did a GREAT job (sorry no pictures). 🙁 I’m now an official pit dad now though! 🙂 I get to help the pit with bringing all their stuff on and off the field for their competitions. Angela is going to help out with that too! They
Zach and Ben joined their first club at school today! They are doing a version of cross country running! The group is called Landsharks and they meet to run every Thursday! This is part of a larger organization that helps kids love to run. They are going to be doing a bunch of these types
Today was the boy’s first day of school at the new Aspen View Academy! We dressed them all up in their formal uniforms and they looked so cute! 🙂 All of the uniforms have to be purchased through Lands End and they ran out of the gray pants in Ben’s size, so for now, we
Happy Labor Day! Can’t believe it’s September already! Today we had a great BBQ at our friends the Liddell’s. He got a new grill and was excited to use it! 🙂 We love hanging out with them and we always have such a fun time!
Well, it’s hard to believe that August is almost over! We’ve already been here in Castle Rock for 4 months! Time has been going fast! Today the boy’s Aspen View Academy (AVA) uniforms arrived and we just had to dress up the boys and get their pictures! They are so cute in their new uniforms!

Seminary started today for the girls! They were super-excited to be going! This is Brittany’s last year, and Kirstyn’s first. They’ll be studying the Book of Mormon which will be wonderful! They have great teachers and I’m sure they’ll have a wonderful year! We’re proud of your commitment to Seminary, girls! Study hard! 🙂
Today Angela ran a 5k with some of her friends and they had a blast. It’s called a “Color Me Rad” run and everyone throws colored powder at each other and gets as crazy as they can with it. She came back completely covered from head-to-toe but had a blast! She’s excited to do that
