Back to School Pool Party!

Today Zach went to school and met his new teacher, Mr. Farrell!  He was very excited because he knows Mr. Farrell a little bit from when Kirstyn had him for math.  Zach can’t wait for school to start.  I hope that his teacher feels that way too!  🙂  I’m sure Mr. Farrell got an update […]

Zoo and First Football Practice

Today, Kirstyn, Zach, and Ben went to Phillips Park (and the Zoo) with Angela.  They had a GREAT time playing in the park, getting wet, and really enjoying themselves. Happy Pioneer Day!

Today to celebrate Pioneer Day, we had some friends over and made tinfoil dinners and cooked them up on the grill.  It was a far cry from the way they did things in 1847!  We sure take for granted many of the modern conveniences we have today, that’s for sure!  The food tasted great and

New Toys for Angela!

The new washer and dryer arrived today!  I got them installed when I got home and they look great!  They’re just like new toys!  Angela loves to do laundry now, and so do the kids!  The machines are SO quiet and you can’t even tell they’re running until you hear the little “laundry’s done” musical

Tonight we had a Ward Temple Night and what an awesome night it was.  As part of Youth Conference, we came up with names for the girls to do baptisms for in Nauvoo.  We asked the Raketic family if we could do the work for their family, and they said that we could.  Brittany and
