SCORE!!!

Today was Zachary’s first full soccer game.  The last 3 weeks have been spent in clinics and scrimmages for the Kindergarten-age kids.  The team has become MUCH better since the first week they practiced!  🙂  Zachary’s team won 5-2 and ZACHARY SCORED A GOAL!!!  🙂  He was playing fullback and got the ball.  There wasn’t

Cross Country, Huck Finn Debate, and IMEA…

Brittany had a good run today in the Aurora “City of Lights” tournament with multiple school districts participating.  They ran all the 7th and 8th grade girls together.  Still Middle School’s 7th grade girls took 1st, 2nd, and 4th overall and beat everyone by a huge margin.  Brittany came in 57th of 230 runners.  She

Metea High School Dedication!

Today the high school had it’s official dedication ceremony.  I went with Sarah, Kirstyn, and Zachary.  They left the decorations up from the dance last night and that added a nice touch!  The gym was filled and the program was very nice.  The auditorium is not quite finished yet so the gym had to do.

Soccer, Football, and Homecoming!

Today was an incredibly busy day!  This morning Zachary had soccer practice, and he is doing a little better.  The team at least didn’t bunch together like bees around honey, so that is good!  🙂  The head coach wasn’t there, so it fell upon me as assistant coach to get the team practicing the drills.
