Today Kirstyn and Zach had their first basketball games of the early winter season. Kirstyn plays Wheatland ball and her games are at Still Middle School, so that is really nice! She played hard and did pretty well. She has a really good team and they play well together. She’s a little out of practice,
Today Zach and Kirstyn played great in their games. Zach is quite the little defender! He has some work to do on offense, but he really sticks to who he is guarding like glue. 🙂 His team won and it looks as if their team is going to have a great (possibly undefeated?) season! Kirstyn
Happy Halloween everyone! The kids had a great time going out trick-or-treating and after 2 1/2 hours, they were exhausted but had a TON of candy! Kirstyn went out a little later as well and had fun too! We now have a whole bunch of candy (and a whole bunch of freezer bags of chocolate)
Today Kirstyn started basketball on a Wheatland team with her good friend Ashley. She is the only one on the team that is not from the school Ashley goes to, so she doesn’t know anyone, but that will soon change. They look really good and should have a GREAT season!
Tonight we had a Thai party at the clubhouse of some good friends of ours. She is part Thai and her dad was in town and loves to cook so they took advantage of this! Brittany went over early (in her catering interests) and helped prepare the food. She is now an expert in spring
Tonight Zach started basketball and had his first practice with the park district team he’s playing on. It’s a little more relaxed than the Wheatland team he plays for. There are some kids who have never played before and he feels right at home. 🙂 We also had our trunk or treat activity tonight at
Tonight we had Standards Night at the church. Hopefully the kids enjoyed it. It never ceases to amaze me the difference in the written questions or responses we get from the kids prior to the event. This year, we asked all the kids to make a list of the top 10 things they are looking
Tonight at Cub Scout Pack Meeting, Zach received his Bobcat rank! For the first time ever, Angela and I got to go up and have Zach pin on mom’s first scouting pin!!!! Yea!!! Great work Zach! He is really excited about Cub Scouts and can’t wait to do more and get his Wolf rank advancement.
This weekend was a VERY busy and VERY exciting! A friend of ours went to the BYU vs. Utah State Game and saw Sarah. He sent us a picture of her and Kristen Blackham together… He said they looked like they were having a TON of fun and really enjoying themselves! General Conference was this
Again!!! We have another crack in our foundation that is leaking and got the carpet all wet in a different place. So, we had to pull off the wallboard and get things cleaned up. 🙁 I then went outside and started digging a hole so it could be patched from the outside. 🙁 The funny
