Service Project and Halloween Festivities

Today was a very busy day!  We started off the day with a church service project at Feed My Starving Children, which is a food preparation and shipping charity.  When you go there, you make packaged meals of rice, soy, dried vegetables, and chicken powder.   Each packet is enough to feed 1 child 1 meal […]

First Metea Valley Band, Chorus & Orchestra Concert

Tonight marked another piece of history, as the Metea Valley High School Music Department held it’s very first Fall Band, Chorus, and Orchestra concerts!  It’s funny to say that, because everything at Metea this year is a first.  🙂  It just sounds cool saying that, so we keep it up! Sarah did very well in

Fall and Cool Weather are Here!

Well, fall is here and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to get any warmer!  It’s been cold and/or rainy for the past 2 weeks.  The leaves are starting to turn colors and it’s very beautiful.  The only problem with the leaves starting to turn is that we know winter will be here soon!  🙁

Official Band Picture

Sarah got her official Metea Valley High School Marching Mustangs band picture back today and we wanted to post it as soon as possible!  She had so much fun and really enjoyed it.  Sarah is on the top row on the right-hand side, next to the directors… Even though the band was small this year,

Tonight Sarah and the other members of the Inaugural Metea Valley Marching Mustangs marching band were honored with a banquet at the school.  We had a great dinner of pasta and Italian beef as well as desserts.  I guess it was a nice date for us considering it’s our Engagement Anniversary today!  🙂 We watched

Soccer and Trunk-or-Treat!

Today was a busy day also.  We started off with Zach’s soccer game.  They lost, but the kids played great and they are getting better and better every week.  I love the fact that the most important thing is just to have fun and that the score really doesn’t matter.  We got some good pictures,
