Brittany left yesterday and flew out to Illinois to go to Mormon Prom with her friends. She had a blast going to prom and seeing many of her friends there! She called home after and had nothing but great things to say! She’s having a BLAST out there!
Today was our one-year walk-through with Lennar! We can’t believe it’s already been almost a year since we moved here! We had a home inspection done prior to that and gave John from Lennar a bunch of things that were found after the year of living here. They’re going to take care of those things
Tonight Brittany had her orchestra concert. It was really cool! One of the pieces they did was the Star Wars theme and Mr. McGuffin dressed up as Darth Vader, they all pulled out their bows and on them were glowing “light saber” sticks! Angela made all the black fabric sheaths for the bows and the
Brittany had her Versailles choir concert tonight. They did an outstanding job as usual and we are very proud of her efforts. They also sang a number with the other audition group, Voices of the Pride… Awesome job Brittany! You always excel at everything you do! 🙂
Today was a crazy day! We helped the Pedersen’s (friends of ours) move. Zach came with me while Grandma and Grandpa watched Ben. After that, Brittany held her Birth Rocks Internship Luncheon which Angela helped with. It turned out really nice, and even though the attendance wasn’t too high, they had a really enjoyable time.
Night 2 of Once Upon a Mattress was AWESOME as well! Kirstyn is such a great little performer! She was only one of two freshmen girls in the entire cast! Way to break a leg Kirstyn! You are awesome! It looks like all the dramatics around the house paid off! 🙂 We love you!
Kirstyn started the CVHS Musical tonight… Once Upon a Mattress! Mom and Dad Halliday drove from Utah to come and see/support her. She did a GREAT job and we’re so proud of her. Pictures to come tomorrow!
This weekend was a sad one for the family. David and Gina gave birth to a very premature baby they named Cacia. After living for a couple of days, she passed quietly to return to live with her heavenly father. This weekend was the funeral so we all went to Salmon to support the family.

What a busy day we had on Saturday! Ben went to a party for his good friend Jake, and Zach and I helped some friends move. Saturday evening, we went to Stake Conference at the Stake Center. Brittany was assigned to speak, and she did an OUTSTANDING job! Her talk was very inspiring. Right after
Today, Ben and Zach had “Historical Figure Day” at school. They both thought long and hard about what they wanted to be and eventually they decided on a medieval knight and Davy Crockett! They had a blast at school playing their parts!
