Today we had our annual teacher appreciation dinner. Unfortunately, this year, there were some last-minute conflicts, so some of the teachers couldn’t come, but we did have most of the seminary teachers (Eisele, Hermann, and Dawson), and the girls’ choir director at CVHS, Heath Walter. Today we had a graduation open house/party for Brittany (along with a partial 18th birthday party for her as well). We had a lot of people come over and congratulate her on a job well done and have some food from our build-your-own nacho bar! We had a great time chatting with everyone and Brittany
Ben and Zach had their last day of school at AVA today! They both had parties in their rooms and Angela went to help. Ben was pretty funny! I wish I could have been there. He really loved Miss Kalaveshi, his teacher, and he said that he really wants to have her again next year!
Today Zach had has AVA Field Day! He had a blast playing games and enjoying being with his friends! Angela (as usual) went over to help out where she could and also to enjoy watching Zach have fun! 🙂
Today, Zach had a great presentation at school. Each of the kids were supposed to dress up as a figure that they admire, either from past or not-so-distant past. Today was Brittany’s BIG day! Graduation from High School! Grandma and Grandpa Halliday came in late last night to participate in the occasion as well so it was good to see them. Today was Brittany’s LAST day of High School! She was very excited but also a little sad. Weird to say, but we were kind-of happy that she was sad because with the move, we weren’t sure she was going to really adjust well and have a great senior year. She made a lot of friends
Today was a busy day! It started off with Kirstyn and her friends helping haul topsoil for our garden boxes and washing all our cars for the service we bought from them for the gala fundraiser. They had a great time and we got all our dirt put in and ended up with very clean
